According to a report published by the Public Relations Department of Gas Engineering and Development Company, Mr. Gharibi, the managing director of the company, and his accompanying delegation visited the second phase of Dowlatabad – Sangbast gas pipeline project (from Shahid Hasheminejad gas treatment plant to Sangbast) on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. During the visit, the managing director was briefed by the project manager.

The second phase of the project extends from Shahid Hasheminejad gas treatment plant to Sangbast, which is located near Mashhad. This piece of the pipeline is 120 km long and has a diameter of 48 inches.
