​Tuesday, May 5, 1402, Bankol gas field consensus meeting, with the presence of Reza Noshadi, CEO of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company and some of senior managers of the gas company and national officials, were held in Ilam province.
According to public relations, since the development of the Bankol gas field had previously caused concerns for environmental activists and supporters, this meeting has been held by focusing on examining the environmental dimensions of the Bankol field and clarifying the conditions of this gas project for public opinion in this region.
In this meeting, Bahramnia, the governor of Ilam, emphasizing the priority of preserving the environment, said about the resources of Ilam province: This province has many oil and gas resources, whose potential should be realized and be a factor for the development of employment and improvement of the livelihood of the youth of this region.
He expressed his hope that by complying with the environmental regulations and providing a suitable solution to correct the current situation, we will be able to use the rich resources and divine blessings of this province to serve the people of this region.
Describing the dimensions of the Bankol gas field project, Noshadi said: Since the capacity of Bankol gas field is very high, its development is very important in expanding job opportunities for the youth of this region. Environmentalists should be sure that the annexes and environmental considerations will be followed according to the latest standards.
He added: We use all our knowledge, expertise and technology to make the people of the west of the country benefit from sustainable gas with the least environmental consequences. Because energy projects are sustainable only if the environment is preserved.
