IGEDC Ready to Export Technical Services, CEO Says

TEHRAN (IGEDC) - The Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company (IGEDC) expressed its readiness to export technical and engineering services, CEO Reza Noushadi announced at a specialized meeting held at the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry.

The session was attended by Mohammad Hamel, Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), and Ahmad Asadzadeh, Deputy Minister of International Affairs and Commerce for the Ministry of Petroleum.

During the meeting, Noushadi highlighted the significant achievements of IGEDC, the executive arm of Iran’s gas industry.
He emphasized the company’s potential to leverage years of specialized experience and the skilled workforce responsible for managing the world's most complex gas network.

Noushadi expressed hope that, with the support and tools provided by GECF, Iranian engineers, manufacturers, and producers could penetrate international markets.

"We are fully prepared to engage with GECF member countries to achieve our goals of exporting technical and engineering services," Noushadi said.

He noted that domestic manufacturers currently supply 100% of pipeline materials, 92% of compressor station equipment, and 75% of gas refinery needs. This high level of domestic capability, combined with proficient engineers, positions IGEDC to offer technical services globally.

Noushadi also outlined IGEDC’s future plans, which include the construction of helium production units, energy recovery projects, and the reduction and elimination of CO₂ emissions through storage solutions. He stressed the importance of collaboration among GECF members to access the latest global technologies.
