Managing Director of IGEDC inspected some projects

According to a report issued by the Public Relations Department of Gas Engineering and Development Company, Engineer Alireza Gharibi, the Managing Director of  IGEDC and his accompanying delegation, on Wednesday April 28, 2011 inspected the following projects:

1. Replacement of some parts of the second nationwide pipeline
2. Construction of 132 KV substation at South Pars Refinery Complex
3. Extraction of LPG at Fajr-e Jam Refinery
4. Connection of 42” line, branching from the fifth nationwide pipeline, to Fajr-e Jam Refinery

It should be noted that:
- The project for the replacement of parts of the second nationwide line is under implementation in the two ranges of Kangan (with a length of about 39 km) and Farashband (with a length of about 21 km) by the gas pipeline project and so far it has made a 55/85% progress.

- The project for the construction of 132/33/6 KV power post at Assaluyeh with a capacity of 150 MW for distribution of backup power needed by the refineries in Phases 1, 2 and 3 of South Pars Refinery Complex is under implementation by the project for construction of Parsian gas refinery and has made a 41% progress so far.

- The project for daily extraction of 200 tons of LPG (propane and butane) from the gas transferred to the Fajr-e Jam Refinery burner is under implementation by the project for construction of Parsian gas refinery inside Fajr-e Jam Refinery and has made a 87% progress so far.

- The project for connection of 42-inch line branching from the fifth nationwide pipeline to Fajr-e Jam Refinery is under implementation inside Fajr-e Jam Refinery by the project for the nationwide fifth and sixth pipelines for sweetening sour gas of the fifth line. Major operations of this recent project have been completed and the project would become operational soon.

In the course of the inspection, GEDC Managing Director issued necessary guidelines and talked with the operational agents of the project in person. He issued necessary instructions for making the required coordination.
