Two Projects in Qazvin Province Are Very Urgent

The Public Relations Office has conducted a brief interview with Engineer Payvan, the executive of provincial pipeline project, on the progress of relevant projects which follows:

On the projects under implementation in the provincial pipeline project, he said Kerman - Tabas second gas transfer pipeline and the first piece of Khorramabad - Khalkhal second reinforcement pipeline which were launched in 2007 all were completed in 2010 and put into operation. Only, the second piece of Khorramabad transfer gas pipeline is under implementation in a length of 50 km.

Pointing to the problems of the project, Payvan said the main difficulty on the progress of the provincial pipeline project is landowners as well as liquidity. He further remarked that problems in the way of second Khorramabad pipeline are being removed rapidly and expressed his hope that the project would become  operational by the end of the calendar month of Mehr (late October). He said once the second Khorramabad pipeline is completed, the city would definitely not experience shortage of gas anymore.

Out of the projects which are under implementation in this plan one is Bafq gas transfer pipeline in Yazd Province, 24” and in 100km, for which design and location have been completed and investor and contractor companies have been chosen for its execution.

As for other projects, Payvan said Delijan - Khomein gas transfer pipeline which is aimed at transferring gas to Khomein industrial zone, is 24” and in 70km, and is planned to be implemented through foreign investment. The project is in its designing stage and up to the end of the current year a bid would be called for the participation of interested investor companies.

Two urgent projects in Qazvin Province have been defined in this plan which would be followed up through Qazvin governor general’s office. One is the project for transferring gas to Alamoot region and the other is for transferring gas to Khorram-Dasht industrial zone. Although these two projects are not large and bulky but given their follow up by the governor general’s office, the two are very important. The two projects would be implemented through financial resources of Qazvin Province.

In conclusion, he described the relationship among his personnel as highly satisfactory and said as far as the executive is concerned he must create a friendly and calm atmosphere for his personnel and call upon them to exercise understanding and cooperation with each other. Nothing more than discrimination could kill the staff’s incentives, he stressed.
