Managing Director of Gas Engineering and Development Company, Engineer Alireza Gharibi inspected gas pressure booster facilities in Parchin and Semnan on Oct 18, 2011.
At a session held in the presence of the project officials, consultant and contractor, the project executive provided details about the progress of the projects and problems at the installations.
For his part, the GEDC managing director issued necessary guidelines in view of the importance and urgency of Parchin and Semnan installations.
On October 21, 2011, the 7th Unit of Saveh II & III Gas Booster installations were commissioned with cooperation of representatives of turbo compressor manufacturers as well as the project and commissioning personnel after conducting tests (for 72 hours).
This completed the commissioning of all the seven turbo compressors of the largest gas pressure booster facility in the Middle East which is also capable of linking the 2nd and 3rd as well as the northwestern trunklines.
On October 28, 2011 the second compressor from the contract for 100 OTCs at Jahrom gas pressure booster station of Type D was commissioned after successful testing for 72 hours.
It is to be noted that the commissioning operation was done in the absence of foreign experts and thanks to the efforts of the project and transfer company staff.
