villages of Qeshm Island and we have to cross the Persian Gulf by H.D.D to
reach this area.
Crossing the roaring waters of the
Persian Gulf and supplying gas to Qeshm
Explaining the importance of crossing a part
of the 30-inch "Bandar Abbas-Laft-Gurzin" pipeline through the roaring
waters of the Persian Gulf, Seyed Abadi said: "For the first time in the
world, a 30-inch gas transmission pipeline passes under an area 3 km long
underwater." Achieving this success sets a unique record in the treasury
of honors of the country's gas industry.
He continued: "Using advanced HDD
technology at this level has been experienced in a few countries in the world
so far, and now Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company, relying on the
ability of capable domestic companies, intends to operate this project and name
Iran." To enter the club of countries with this modern technology.
Seyedabadi added: "Now the workshop is
equipped and the necessary equipment is purchased to carry out this large
operation, and in the next one or two months, H.D.D devices will be deployed in
the area."
The project manager continued: by supplying
gas to Qeshm Island, the industrial town, Qeshm power plant and existing
factories, as well as future industries, will enjoy the blessings of gas and
the possibility of further development in this beautiful island will be
provided.
Crystallization of the gas slogan, the
axis of development
He called the implementation of the
"Bandar Abbas-Laft-Gurzin" project and the 16-inch branch of the
Persian Gulf Industrial Park as examples of the crystallization of the slogan
"gas, the axis of development" and added: Honorable residents of
these areas will be created and the mission of the government and the National
Iranian Gas Company in reducing deprivation and giving hope to different
regions of the country will be realized.
The head of the "Bandar
Abbas-Laft-Gurzin" project announced the 40% progress of this important
project and said: This project includes three waypoints, a 30-inch launcher and
receiver, a 16-inch launcher and receiver, and a PCS station. This view also
holds the record for the use of many stations in a project.
Resolve the challenge of land acquisition
with the benefit of an interactive approach
Explaining the challenges of the project, he
described the difficulty of resolving the land acquisition issue and said:
"Numerous consultations with the Army Air Force, as well as the Ports and
Maritime Organization in Tehran and Hormozgan, and the use of strong logic and
reasoned expression in joint meetings, led to relevant permits." To be
done without imposing high costs and implementing variants.
Crossing the roaring river Keshar
Explaining the natural obstacles of this
project, Seyed Abadi said: "In this project, in addition to crossing the
gas, water, oil and fiber-optic pipelines, we also had an intersection with the
roaring river Keshar, which we crossed twice by performing CCW
operations." It was very difficult to cross this river, which is 250
meters wide, and due to its proximity to the sea, the Persian Gulf water flowed
into this river regularly, and the high water level made the executive
operation difficult.
