Public Relations Department’s interview with Mr. Jansarian

Official in charge of 2nd phase of Ilam gas refinery took part in an interview with Public Relations Department:
Before Construction of Ilam Gas Refinery, Western Regions Experienced Reduced Gas Pressure in Wintertime
Majid Reza Jansarian was born in 1962 and is a graduate in electricity field from the Oil University, Mahmoudabad Technical and Engineering Complex. He was employed by the National Iranian Gas Company in 1987.
He has worked in many posts including supervisor of urban gas network and pressure reduction stations, senior supervisor of gas refinery projects, official in charge of gas refinery projects, senior power and instrument engineer and official in charge of engineering and construction of Ilam gas refinery project. Since 2008 he has been working as the official in charge of the second phase of Ilam gas refinery.
As for his best work and experience, Jansarian says, “I have worked almost in every corner of Iran from the north to the east. I have been in Khangiran projects, in development project of Farashband refinery, in the south in Parsian gas refinery project, and in the west in Ilam gas refinery project. My experiences in Khangiran have greatly helped me with other projects.”
Ilam gas refinery project is of special importance because in view of weak infrastructures in the project and its special situation, the project needed much energy and all those involved in it, from managers to ordinary staff, helped to pull it off.
As for Ilam gas refinery, he adds, “Special situation of that project at the end of gas transmission line in the west of the country has helped us minimize gas pressure falls in the western parts of the country and has helped to stabilize gas flow in Hamedan province.”

Jansarian stated, “In the second phase, we have to increase the refining capacity to 2.1 million cubic meters a day and according to the schedule, the operation will take about 40 months.”
He said, “In the first phase, all construction, management and supervision operations were done by domestic companies. We will continue on the same path and will make the most of capabilities of domestic contractors in the second phase.”
Jansarian noted that cooperation of all sectors will help implement a project, adding, “Good management is when a manager enjoys expert information and academic studies are combined with necessary experience in order to rule the hearts of his colleagues because that would exceed all our duties and speed up projects.”
