By the grace of God and during the auspicious days of the holy month of Ramadan and the Government Week, the third gas trunk line with a diameter of 56 inches was inaugurated from Saveh to Qazvin and Kouhin over 162 km along with seven gas compression stations in Qazvin, Khorramdarreh, Zanjan, Hashtroud, Marand, Margonlar, and Takab on August 30, 2009. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Mr. Ramezani, deputy oil minister and managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company, Mr. Gharavi, deputy managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company, Mr. Tahaei, the governor general of Qazvin province, Mr. Gharibi, the managing director of the Gas Engineering and Development Company, and managing directors of the Iranian Gas Transmission Company, Qazvin Province Gas Company, and Iran Gas Storage Company in addition to members of board of directors of the National Iranian Gas Company and the Gas Engineering and Development Company, project managers, contractors, company staff and media crew.
