According to Public Relations Department, Mr. Gharibi, managing director of the Gas Engineering and Development Company and some members of Board of Directors, visited the 2nd north and northeast gas transmission pipeline at its Shahroud-Sabzevar section which is 48” in diameter and about 190 km long on August 15-16, 2009.

The inspection was attended by contractors of the said projects, Kerman Jahad Nasr Company, Ahvaz Jahad Misaq Company, Sadid Pipe and Equipment Company, and Ahvaz Pipe Company as a consortium along with Petro Farayand Energy Company as consultant of the project. The inspection started in Sabzevar and continued along the pipeline and various aspects such as pipe laying and welding radiography in various parts of the pipeline were visited. A session was convened in Shahroud on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 23:00 local time to discuss the latest situation of the pipeline and was attended by officials in charge of projects. Decisions were made to speed up implementation of the projects.

During the inspection, they also visited hydrostatic test operations on Meiamei-Dasht-e Shad 40” pipeline and part of Semnan-Shahroud pipeline.
