Fourth Specialized Conference on Monitoring and Detecting Defects in Machinery and Equipment will be held at Sharif University of Technology on March 1-3 in cooperation with scientific, research and industrial centers of the country.

Condition-based maintenance is the third generation of maintenance methods which has been introduced since 1970s. Advantages and capacities of this method have made it a choice for various industries and it is currently very popular. However, this method is still nascent in our country and is used on a limited scale. Specialists and researchers meet on an annual basis to exchange scientific and applied experiences and achievements and to know about new methods for monitoring the situation of machinery.

While thanking industrial activists and researchers for the warm welcome they accorded the first through third conferences on this subject, they are invited to take part in the fourth specialized conference on monitoring and detecting defects in machinery which will be held on March 1-3, 2009, to offer their research and industrial achievements.
